Rabbi Shmuel Zucker was born in Golders Green, England and attended the prestigious yeshivos of Gateshead, Be’er Yaakov and spent his formative years in Yeshivas Mir in Yerushalayim. The Rav was influenced greatly by the Tzaddik and Lubavitcher Chassid Rav Moshe Veber tz”l from Yerushalayim, and is a close talmid of the Amshinover Rebbe, Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Morgenstern and Rabbi Mottel Zilber. He has been a Maggid Shiur and Rebbe for more than 25 years in Ohr Yerushalayim, Imrei Binah, Yeshivas Mevaseret Tzion and most currently in Yeshivas Aish HaTorah. He has authored many seforim, including Shashuei Shmuel on Sugyos HaShas, Oros HaMoadim (Chelek Aleph, Beis and Gimmel) in Lashon HaKodesh, as well as ‘Illuminating Our Day’, a peirush on Tefillah in English. He is currently working on a book of Divrei Torah on the parsha in English, and other seforim in Lashon HaKodesh. The Rav's Divrei Torah also are distributed to a worldwide audience every week via email. Rav Zucker is a rebbe to thousands of talmidim, many who consider him their rebbe for life. He has the uncanny ability to connect with every kind of Jew, uplift him, and make him feel closer to Hashem. His dynamic and warm personality, passion for Avodas Hashem, along with his original and penetrating Divrei Torah are what makes Rabbi Zucker the perfect manhig to lead our Kehilla.
